Implementing Community-enhancment and Human-caring Skills from Economic and Social Perspectives for People and Cities Sustainability

Under globalization and emerging issues in different parts of the world, interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and attitude and values are needed for 2030. Through searching 13 articles related to future jobs and skills 2030 from e-database and internet (2014-2019) via N’vivo content analysis, the key elements identified for people and cities sustainable development are: 

– Community enhancement skills (4,068 references); 

– Spiritual Skills (3,577 references); 

– Human caring skills (1,768 references); 

– Economic perspective (1,087 references); 

– Social perspective (922 references). 

And, the documents that are of a relevance value of the above are: “The Future of Work, Evidence Report” (2014), “Jobs Lost. Jobs Gained”, (2017) and “Future of Skills” (2017). It is recommended to have innovative strategy for people and cities sustainable development in place to meet the top occupations mentioned by “Future of Skills” (2017) in the sectors of :

1) healthcare, social and personal services,

2) active teaching and learning professionals,

3) food and entertainment related occupations.
