On 19th September, 2021, the author joined the soft launch of newsletter of Centre For Social Sensitivity and Action (CSSA), GIM  – a monthly newsletter focused on SDG#12, Sustainable Consumption and Production. The newsletter was launched as part of UN #SDGaction Global Week to #Act4SDGs and #TurnItAround for people+planet. Based on the paper contributed by the author, “T-shaped talents with responsibility and SD plus STEAM Mindset are needed for the future of education. It is the responsibility of the professor and the elder generation to teach the young about the importance of SDG Goals.” (Yeung, 2021)

On 23rd, September, 2021, the author interviewed Mr. Rali Mampeule, Founding Donor for Mampeule Foundation and the model that their foundation works on well matched SDG#12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG #4 – Knowledge Transfer, #5 Gender Equality, #8 Economic Impacts, and #17 Partnership.

Mr. Rali, Founder of Mampeule Foundation

Besides achieving SDGs, Mr Rali and his team in the Foundation has been practising “Transformative Servant Leadership”, a model proposed by the author.  In order to determine the possible factors that contribute to “Transformative Servant Leadership”, a study was carried out by the author earlier.

In total, ten articles published from 2015 to 2021 were studied. Numerous aspects were particularly more related to the topic, including Responsiveness, Collaboration, Selfless Commitment, Persistent Reflection, Transcend Self Interest, Determination To Change, Change With Innovations, Critical Thinking For Common Goals, and Accept People.

“All in all, a foundation business model can be integrated with SDGs and transformation servant leadership attributes for impacts.” (Yeung, 2021)
