Resilience Skills – Wellness and Energy

A qualitative research was done to analyze factors potentially related to Resilience Skills 

Enhancement.

Ten articles published from 2012 to 2021 were found. By digging deep into the articles, several relatable factors were identified to the topic, including Engagement with Visual Arts, Simulation Skills, Engagement with Well Being, High Level of Coordination Skills, Management of Anxiety, Engagement with Culture, Awareness of Change in Ergonomics, and Hygiene Operations Management. (Yeung, 2022)

Based on the above findings, an interview has been conducted with Ms. M. Ho, Founder of MSS (HK) Association / experienced Reiki practitioner on management of anxiety and engagement. Ms. Ho mentioned that wellness with inner peace and balance of minds may help to reduce anxiety and regain energy through holistic awareness of emotion and implementation of physical, mental and spiritual therapy. 

“Through a combination use of sound, singing bowl, magnetic fork and meditation, negative energy may be removed with calmness and energy regained,” said Ms. Ho.

A 3-step approach that the author has observed from Ms. Ho’s demonstration is:

Awareness of your emotional state – Heart,

  • Calmness of physical and mental performance – Body, and
  • Balance of engagement and coordination skills of heart, body and mind.
